Instuctions for listing your dealership,

            or editing your listing.



At CarsAndTrucks.com we are excited about our new website which gives you the dealer

the ability to list your dealership with us for free.  This is more than just another dealer

directory however.  You can now include with your listing a detailed description of your

dealership and up to ten pictures of your choice*.  To make it even better, you will be

able to edit your text and pictures as often as you wish.  This is particularly important

to dealers who now have no website of their own.  This will become a free website for

you with a distinct address giving you the ability to communicate with customers and

potential customers.  In addition, for a small monthly fee you can 'enhance' your listing

by making it a 'featured listing', highlighting your listing and placing it before the others.

The instructions will be slightly different for dealers who are not now listed than for

those whose dealership is already listed..  Please click on the category which describes

you:

Since you are already listed, you will have to "claim" your listing.  To do that you must:

 

  1. 1.  Register - after registering an email will automatically be sent to the email address you
  2. provide.  In that email will be a link on which you click to activate your registration. 

  4. 2.  Log In using the user name and password you have chosen.

  6. 3.  Go to your dealership listing.
  7. At the bottom of your dealership's listing are the choices:
  8.  Print - Visit - Report - Claim - Owner's Listing - Dealer Map.  Choose "Claim"
  9. You will get the message, "Thank you. We will attend to the claim as soon as possible."
  10.   Your claim of ownership must be approved before you can edit your listing

  12. 4.  After your 'claim' is reviewed, you will receive an email saying your claim has been
  13.  approved.  At this point you can edit your listing.

NOTE:  IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO LIST YOU DEALERSHIP YOURSELF, BUT WOULD LIKE IT TO BE LISTED, SEND $10.00 Cash or Check (payable to Don VandenBosch) TO Don VandenBosch, 1991 Lakeview Drive, Zeeland, MI 49464 with your listing information and it will be done for you.  Don't forget you can post up to 10 pictures on your website.

 

Your dealership is not yet listed, so you must:

 

  1. 1.  Register - after registering an email will automatically be sent to the email address you provide.  In that email will be a link on which you click to activate your registration.

  3. 2.  Log In using the user name and password you have chosen.

  5. 3.  Select the State in which your dealership is.
  6. On your right, just under "Dealer Listings by City,"  click on "Add your listing here"

  8. 4.  A form will appear on which you can fill in the necessary information.
  9. When the form is completed and pictures are attached (if you want pictures), click on "Submit"
